Hot Tub Things Cartridge Cleaner is a concentrated cleaning solution containing grease and oil emulsifiers and wetting agents. Our scientifically designed formula makes it easy to remove oils, grease, and soaps from your filter  to restore it to original condition. Cleaning your filter will reduce pump electricity costs and will decrease the potential for bacterial growth. For use with chlorine, bromine and ozone based sanitizers. Use: 1. Remove cartridge or elements from filter housing. 2. Use full strength on elements and brush clean, or soak elements in a solution of 1 part Cartridge Cleaner to 10 parts water (1 qt to 2.5 gallons). Soak for 3 hours
