This stuff is great. The instructions said it wasn't necessary to wash the DE off my quads but I spent ten minutes cleaning them anyway. If you don't want to wash the DE off your filter elements, well, don't. I poured the contents into a cleaned, good size trash can and filled it full of water, I put all four of my filter elements in for 24 hours, turned them over and left them for another day. They looked as clean as new.

Does a great job removing the film and discoloration on the filter pleats. I usually soak overnight.
The pictures say it all. Mixed it in a 5 gal bucket per instructions. The attached pictures show the before soaking (after rinsing in high pressure hose already) and after. I’ve kept it in the bucket and used multiple times already.
