Low calcium levels will also cause spa or hot tub water to foam. Maintaining a hardness level will help protect your spa from these harmful effects. Directions Determine amount of product to be added. The ideal hardness level is 150-400 ppm. Turn jets ON to circulate spa water. Pour required amount into the water. Run filter for 1 to 2 hours. Retest water to ensure proper level. Repeat steps 1-5 until proper level is obtained

Leisure Time Filter Clean is an overnight deep-cleaning solution for filters to remove body oils, suntan lotion, grease and other organic material as well as scale and mineral buildup from filter media. Directions Remove grids or cartridges from filter. In a clean, plastic pail, bucket or trash can that contains 8 gallons of water, add contents of Filter Clean. (This is enough solution to clean 110 square feet of filter area.) Place cartridge or grids upright in solution. Soak for a minimum of 3 hours. For maximum effectiveness, soak overnight. Remove filter from solution. Hose off filter with high pressure nozzle and replace.
