Product Overview
The Jacuzzi® 6540-164J is the OEM 75 sq ft filter cartridge used in Jacuzzi's ProClear® II filtration system. It's built with trilobal polyester media, a fiber shape that exposes more surface area to the water than standard filter fabric, so it traps fine debris and helps keep spa water clear between cleanings.
This cartridge is designed for Jacuzzi® J-LX™ and J-LXL™ Collection spas (2011 and newer) and select J4™ Collection models, including J-415™, J-425™, J-465™, J-470™, and J-480™ (2012 and newer). It replaces the older, discontinued 2000-286 cartridge and can also serve as an upgrade for spas currently running the 6000-383AJ filter. Because Jacuzzi has used similarly sized cartridges across several model years, check your existing filter's part number, length, and bottom-thread size before ordering to make sure it's a proper match.
The removable twist-off top cap is shared with other ProClear® cartridges: it lets you drop a mineral sanitizer stick directly into the filter instead of adding a separate floating dispenser. One cartridge is included per order. Like any spa filter, it needs regular rinsing to keep water flowing properly, and should be replaced once cleaning no longer restores flow or clarity.
